On Monday, the 8th of December. The whole of New Brighton Catholic School had a Feast day celebration.

Firstly we went to a Virtues assembly,explaining what a feast day is. There were speeches said by Stella and Kobe, Explaining what we do on feast day. After that we went to the hall to do the raffle draw, there were multiple prizes and three people from our school got to go up and receive prizes.

After lunch we all lined up and got in our groups, my group had seven people 1 Bella, 2 Andie/me, 3 Ellie, 4 Carson, 5 Charlie, 6 Year one Bella. After that we rotated around the domain for the whole middle block.

After we had finished our top team challenge kit was lunch time. After lunch we had the talent quest it took the whole afternoon but was so worth it.

      Hi Andie here, and today I am going to show you what we have been doing here in room one this week.        This week in room one we have been learning about the Ground rules for conversation,There are 5 rules.        Here are the 5 rules ~Always respect each other’s ideas~Listen to what people have to say~Stick to the topic~Invite others to share their ideas~And ask questions.

After Miss Hamilton had explained the Ground Rules on the mat she sent us to our groups.

Today in room one we learned about Volcanoes in Science. we all had to get into groups of 5 or 6, i was in a group of six with tegan,Saffron,Penny,Erin and Leila.

The first thing we did was sit on the mat and Mrs Webster told us all about Volcanoes, Did you know that before the lava comes out of the crater it is called Magma? cool right then the next thing we did was get into groups  and then we went outside and did a race with liquids, i was routing for cooking oil from the start!

The liquids we had were Water,Cooking oil,Dish washing and maple syrup. here they are in the order of placing. At first we have got Water then in the second place is cooking oil, third is Dish Washing Liquid and last is Maple Syrup.

(Gruradanaduha!!) did you hear that? It sounds like a zombie, let me translate this. Omg the zombie is saying Halloween is creepy coming, Let me tell you what I am going to do for Halloween. This Halloween me and my family are going to be scaring the people, that dare to come up to our house, there is going to be smoke machines, creepy sounds, jump scares and my family hiding in creepy costumes.

The costumes my family and I are thinking of wearing are, Scream, zombie,creepy doll with creaks on our face, or the people from hotel Transylvanian.

On Wednesday I made a book cover about friends and how to treat them, here is an image of my cover.

On Wednesday I made a WANTED!! poster about my costume for Book Character Day. It was about the White Rabbit being WANTED!! for being late to the annual queens tea party. Here is an image of my poster!!! <3

On Wednesday the 19th of November it was Book Character Day at NBC. So I made a slideshow all about the day and activities, here it is <3

                                         🇵🇹My Christmas letter in Portuguese🇵🇹

Yesterday the 4th of November about half of room one was at zones, so there were only 12 people in our class for the day. In the morning we sat on the mat and did the roll and then we got up and went to a desk and could do one of these 5 tasks. 1.Make a letter to Santa in a different language,(which I picked) 2. make a grej of the day, 3. how Christmas looked in a different country, 4.do a blog about an upcoming event or a past event,5. make a where is wally but with your self.

When I was done writing my letter I showed the teacher, then I made a Christmas wish list here is what was on it. 1.Pink Palm Puff (red Embreigh one) 2. a pickle jellycat, 3. some black nike panda dunks,4. some black and white nike socks x2, 5.a jean skirt. here are some photos of my work.

Hi everybody 👋, so if I’m going to be completely honest here, Then I do NOT think you will hear me going, oh I got first I love Athletics! Well then if so you may close this tab, but if you really want to hear how I felt about that, then read on! So as I was saying, On Tuesday the 14th of October, New Brighton Catholic school went out into the domain and started with HIGH JUMP, btw I got to the second bar I think. Then after high jump we had SHOT PUT we all had three treys and i got past the skipping rope once, then after we had DISCUS. in discus ngl i did not do very well.~MORNING TEA~. After morning tea we had 800 METERS RUN! I got 4th place and I’m pretty happy with it, after the run we had LONG JUMP yay. now finally something that i actually like, now whoa ho ho dont i have some explaining to do, lets start now shall we ok so in long jump i did not do very well according to me I think I got either 1.8 meters or 2.8 meters.~LUNCH~. After lunch was 80 METERS SPRINTS I got 5th pretty good I guess, then after was RELAYS, in our house groups I am in Euphrasie.~HOME~.
